Scope of Work
ҹɫÊÓƵ, as the boilermaker contractor, was responsible for staging, cleaning, and installing 20, 12-tube screen platens into the #1 Recovery Boiler. This entailed a detailed rigging plan, multiple welding procedures as well as intense quality control and hold points. Nearly 450 welds were made over the course of two and a half weeks, with approximately a 3 percent X-ray rejection rate. All welds ҹɫÊÓƵ performed were volumetrically examined and passed inspection.

Lean, Innovative and Unique Project Solutions
The rigging system utilized inside the boiler was a "high-line" system that allowed "trolleying" of the platens across the boiler. The installation and removal were much less involved than a fixed rigging beam or other fixed member.
