ҹɫÊÓƵ installed a 10-foot, high-security perimeter fence around an existing substation, including a new access control system, perimeter intrusion detection system, lighting, and cameras.

• Erected 5,750 linear feet of 10-foot-tall welded-wire fabric fencing including 455 embedded post foundations
• Ran PVC conduit below grade and rigid conduit above grade
• Pulled and terminated all wire and fiber
• Installed 56 CCTVs
• Mounted 88 new lights

The security fence was located along a portion of the substation susceptible to standing water and mud during rainy conditions. This presented an environmental concern when operating heavy equipment during construction. The project team overcame this by utilizing mud mats in those work areas to reduce the risk of mud tracking onto public roadways.
