Lean, Innovative and Unique Project Solutions

The project had unique challenges including the schedule being extended over two years due to the project being broken into 6 separate segments. The terrain that the transmission line covers varied from flat agricultural fields to densely populated suburban neighborhoods and which also included an interstate crossing. The project team utilized new, higher capacity rope pullers which improved the team's wire pulling efficiency and eliminates hardline pulls. The team made additional efficiencies by using outside resources to spot steel which allowed members of the team to be utilized for other tasks.
