Units 1-4 Precipitator Sump Equipment Installation

Scope of Work

Rerouted sump discharge piping from the ash ponds to the new on-site water treatment facility. The work included the structural, mechanical, and electrical installation of a new piping system containing three thousand five hundred (3,500) linear feet of pipe and sixty-five thousand (65,000) linear feet of electrical cable. During the completion of the project, an additional five million ($5,000,000) was awarded for time and material-based work, which more than doubled the size of the contract. Although the project scope grew, the project was completed while adhering to the originally agreed-upon schedule.
